GRAND RAPIDS · PROJECT GUIDE

Check whether a stone piece fits your vanity

Record the vanity shape and visible edges before asking whether a particular piece fits your project.

Sketch the vanity shape and edge exposure

Draw the vanity shape and note which edges will show. Add the sink position and any backsplash questions. Preliminary dimensions help describe the project, while the fabricator still needs to verify the final piece and cutouts.

Record preliminary dimensions and sink location

Ask for the actual usable piece dimensions, material and condition. Keep the piece ID in your notes. Check whether the planned shape and exposed edges can be made from that piece before considering it selected.

Ask for usable stone dimensions and the installed minimum

Ask about the minimum charge and the complete installed scope. Record any hold terms, fabrication, cutout and delivery or installation charges. A suitable piece still needs a workable project quote and current acceptance of the job.

Keep the next step clear.

Use your checklist to keep open decisions beside the work they affect. Confirm the complete scope and price before booking.
