OUR PROJECT GUIDE

Make your granite
project plan.

Put the work, open decisions and responsibilities in one place as you prepare for your quote.

01

Begin with the work.

Record which pieces are changing, your project ZIP, material preference and desired timing. Include cabinet readiness and who approves the work. “Still deciding” can stay in the notes.

02

Label rough dimensions.

Sketch the shape with units, longest dimensions, corners, sink positions and visible edges. Mark uncertainty clearly. Final fabrication dimensions, openings and supports need the responsible professional’s approval.

03

Put a name beside each task.

  • Material, fabrication and finished edges
  • Sink and cooktop cutouts
  • Measurement, delivery and installation
  • Removal, disposal and plumbing responsibilities
  • Supports, backsplash work and taxes

Ask whether each item is included, excluded or pending. Note any cabinet, backsplash or plumbing work that changes the sequence.

04

Review the quote against your plan.

Keep the same sketch and task list with each version of your quote. Keep allowances, minimum charges, material approval, scope, taxes and warranty documents visible. Ask which open decisions can change the total.

05

Confirm the next step.

Ask who measures, who follows up and when the fabricator can confirm capacity. Keep a desired date separate from a booked appointment.

Planning guidance. Final dimensions and installation details need professional confirmation before booking.
